I don't play any multiplayer video games because it feels too stressful somehow so I stick to single player. I pretty much cycle through the Final Fantasy series >= 7 repeatedly, with some old strategy and RTS games mixed in.

RE: Minecraft - I was in college when it first came out and I tried it a couple of times but I never enjoyed it much, I felt like it lacked a definitive objective and I don't enjoy open ended games like that, I suppose.

I go through this cycle every few months, but each time I come back I learn about some additional vanilla data manipulation construct that I dwell on in the inbetween times. During my last overindulgence I developed a travel network operated via point-and-click book interfaces created by placing a specifically-named book in an item frame within two blocks of a lectern. A control book searches all available locations and updates accordingly. I still can't navigate my ever-growing labyrinthine subterranean library, but I can at least go to various places within it!
