Okay, so first you need to make connections. This means you need to get as many players on your side as possible. Depending on the size of your server, it can be acceptable to instead simply go for the more skilled players. Larger servers will require numbers over expertise, though.

The way to do this is to give those players something to look forward to if they work with you. This could be an emotional pathos, such as "If we win, the world will be a better place" normally you would add 'for our children' at the end of that, but Steve and Alex are sterile until Mojang releases the Sex Update we all have been waiting for. You could also try to appease their Machiavellian interests, with something like "When we establish socialism, I will redistribute all the diamonds that have been hoarded by the bougie 1%, to the proletariat"

The avenue through which you establish revolutionary thought will be limited by the extent to which you are facing suppression. If you are facing suppression by a group of elite players, try using out-of-game apps like Discord to organize yourselves. You can also use books and quills to send messages in-game, if using in-game chat is too risky (perhaps private messages are disabled between players). Signs are not recommended, as they leave evidence. Make sure your books have directions to burn them (with a flint and steel, fire charge, lava, et cetera) and be careful who you trust with these books. A single snitch or careless player can bring down your whole operation.

In the event that admins are the ones who are preventing you from achieving the glorious future of class abolitionism, you are pretty much fucked. There are still some things you can do, but they require extreme skill, caution, patience and dedication - not to mention an absurd amount of luck. If the admins are your enemy, your best bet is to try and form a vanguard party by turning one of them traitor (there is little way to know if an admin is truly sympathetic to your causes, and they will be on the look out for this kind of thing if they have even a single collective brain cell) but this comes with its own risks.

Regardless of your methods, once you have a large force, you will need to equip them. I recommend getting as much netherite as possible, and if you have the time and teachers, giving your peasant army PVP lessons to prepare them for battle. If you cannot train them in time, you will have to limit yourself to simple commands to follow, and be ready for a lot of war crimes (collateral damage to farms, build, et cetera) to be committed under your watch. Their pure numbers should allow them to steamroll in general (as long as they are not under-equipped) but they will certainly lose in 1v1 or even 2v1 encounters. Plan carefully according to your strengths and weaknesses.

Once you have defeated your oppressors, you will need to burn them to the roots to make sure nothing grows back. This means you will need to spawn camp them repeatedly and make sure their ender chests are either empty or they have no access to them. Soft-locking these players through imprisonment in an inescapable hole is the end goal, or - if they have a limited number of lives - burning through them. Be careful though, Minecraft players are a special breed and have escaped from situations that a normal person would consider a lost cause ten times over. Remember, do not follow any stupid 'fancy prison tutorials'. Simple is better. Just trap them in unbreakable blocks and make sure they have no items on them, or allies outside to help them.

This is the tricky part, and where most revolutions fail. You need to be aware of betrayals from your own people. If you want to establish socialism, you need to ensure that everyone is on board. No USSR-style so-called "communists", no CCP (or Minecraftian equivalent) shills and no 'red fascists' or 'tankies'. Only principle socialists can be allowed to rule, or else you will quickly devolve into an authoritarian regime arguably worse than what you started with.

Once you have acquired power, I recommend not holding on to it too strongly. By that, I mean don't become paranoid and start cracking down on anyone who so much as casually makes fun of your government. You need to ensure that your rule is just and fulfills its promises, lest you forget that the majority of your populace is fresh out of revolutionary fervor and if they feel like you are betraying their interests, they may decide that second time will be the charm.

There is much more I could say about actually designing a socialist community in Minecraft, but that is not the question you asked. I have told you how to start a revolution, and even went beyond that and shared how you can complete one and begin to form a socialist government.
