If you want to reply to messages individually, you can try this:
1. Click the [Post Reply <---] button.
2. At the bottom of your screen, there is a section called TOPIC REVIEW: [name of thread]
You can see previous posts here.
3. If you find a previous post you want to quote in it's entirety, press the button that looks like a double quotation mark in the topright corner of the screen. This will place that user's entire post into your post, in the form of a quote.
Here is an example, using my last post:

Lore hasn't been updated in a decade

(SIDE NOTE - You may have noticed that this uses tags. If you don't know what those are, it doesn't matter - but if you do know a bit about this, you should know that you can make your own quotes manually. Though, I'm not sure if you would break stuff by messing with some of those parameters (like post_id, time, user_id, et cetera)
4. If you don't want a whole post, but just a snippet, you can highlight a part of the user's message and then click the same button. This will quote just the selected text.
Here is an example, using the last line of your last post:
