Re: Issues Reading Emails in ProtonMail
ive never even heard of proton mail
why not just use gmail or something?
i don't really know what else to suggest lol. if they have customer support, maybe try messaging them?
it could be an issue with their service, or maybe just your client/device.
that was probably not very helpful , but hopefully it might be
also welcome to ASDFForums !

Re: Issues Reading Emails in ProtonMail
Hello, are you here to advertise?
I don't mean to be rude, but are you a large language model?
Can't help about protonmail, works fine for me.
Well, protonmail is simply not google, which should be more than enough justification. (It also makes it somewhat easier to use end-to-end encrypted email.)Froggychum wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2024 10:21 pmive never even heard of proton mail

They don't make money on your data, instead they have paid services (but free as well).

I prefer Neutronmail to Protonmail

this one also tried to edit a spam link into their original post... banned now.
I kind of expected it tbh, why would you register on a random message board just to ask about protonmail?

Re: Issues Reading Emails in ProtonMail
I don't know.
It could be a mix of cheap human labor in poor countries, and automation.
If the cost to the advertiser is small enough, they'll go for it, all they really want is clicks. They don't really care if those clicks turn into sales somewhere, that's not their business.
They don't really like this site in particular, I'm sure they scan far and wide for any place that accepts public posts - forums, blogs with comment sections, etc...

Re: Issues Reading Emails in ProtonMail
Thanks for the reply.
I guess I've only ever seen it here because I don't use any other sites like this
Honestly seems pretty advanced but I guess once one person has made the script it's simple to share.

It's not actually a huge problem, more an annoyance (kind of like having spiders in your house)

Re: Issues Reading Emails in ProtonMail
Agreed.
I mostly leave them alone, whereas I kill any other bugs on sight. Spiders aren't as populous as creatures like ants. You're not likely to get a spider infestation by letting a couple spiders hang around the place. If you leave most bugs alive, their numbers will increase over time. Either by repopulation or by bringing news to their nest of a great place for them all to hang out (my fuckin house).
It also helps that spiders tend to stay in corners or places rarely treaded. This makes sense for them to stay safe, and is good for me since they definitely give me the heebie jeebies, but I normally don't mind them as long as we keep a mutual distance.

Re: Issues Reading Emails in ProtonMail
damn. capitalism has even commodified individual emotions. cant believe it. well, nothing can be done. i guess. here is my monthly payment for dopamine. literally cant live without it. i could have used that money to better my financial situation, but instead i guess ill just live in squalor until i die. this is a meritorious system that certainly incentivizes good social behaviors.
